Bill O’Reilly “Does It Live” on a JetBlue Employee

The Daily Mail reports the confrontation between Bill O’Reilly and the JetBlue worker took place at the airport over a delayed flight on Sunday, April 3, 2022.

O’Reilly: “You…Scumbag. Don’t Talk to Me Like That.”

According to witnesses, the issue between the disgraced commentator and the JetBlue worker was over a delayed flight bound for Turks and Caicos. The 90-second video shows the brief confrontation, where O’Reilly cursed and pointed his finger at the worker.

The confrontation starts by O’Reilly asking the employee if he has been in contact with airline management over the delay. After an inaudible response by the JetBlue gate agent, O’Reilly responds: “We all want to know what you’re going to do. [The flight] is three hours late now.”

When the employee attempts to explain, O’Reilly cuts him off and demands of him: “You’re going to find out,” before looking at the agent’s nametag. As the confrontation escalates, O’Reilly can be heard telling the worker: “You [expletive] scumbag. Don’t talk to me like that.”

The issue continues when the JetBlue employee accuses O’Reilly of threatening him with violence. The commentator immediately denies the accusation, and supposedly repeats what the worker told him. For a second time, O’Reilly demands the worker get more information about the delayed flight and ends the standoff by saying: “You’re going to lose your job.”

“I couldn’t believe how arrogant he was,” the passenger who took the video told the Daily Mail, choosing to stay anonymous. “That poor JetBlue guy just works there, it’s not his fault the flight was delayed, he was just trying to do his job.”

O’Reilly Calls Passenger “Character Assassins on Social Media”

In a response posted to his Twitter account, O’Reilly called the person behind the camera “Character assassins on social media,” linking to a video on his website about JetBlue. In the two-minute clip on his site, O’Reilly calls JetBlue “falling apart.” He goes on to place blame on Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, which O’Reilly calls “an Affirmative Action hire based upon his lifestyle choice,” before cutting to a clip of an unrelated flight.

JetBlue has not publicly commented on the clip or the accusations O’Reilly made.
