The airline announced opening one of their most anticipated projects yet: A 21,000-square-foot lounge at the airport’s International E Concourse.
New Lounge Compliments Other Sky Clubs in Boston
Although Boston Logan Airport features two different Sky Club lounges, the latest lounge serves as the flagship for international travel from the Northeast airport. Delta says the new space “takes inspiration from the famous harbor itself, incorporating colors and textures reminiscent of Boston’s nautical history.”
With generous views of both the Boston Harbor and the airport runways, the flooring recalls sailing ships coming in and out of the area with washed oak and metal arches. Delta says the color palette, featuring “accents of navy, teal and terracotta pulls from the signature brick of the Boston skyline, paired with a gradient sunset over the jewel-toned harbor.”
Flyers coming through the international concourse lounge will be offered seasonally inspired food and beverage options, along with local favorites. Travelers can expect to see staples like New England clam chowder and Necco wafers on the permanent menu.
On the comfort side, travelers can take advantage of a family room when flying with children, or take calls in the privacy of one of six soundproof phone booths. The lounge also features five shower suites, two of which are ADA compliant.
The lounge is open starting at 1:30 AM until 10:45 PM Thursday through Tuesday. The lounge closes early on Wednesday, at 10:15 PM.
New Sky Club Latest in Delta Expansion
The Boston Sky Club opening is the latest in Delta’s expansion in the passenger experience. In July 2023, the carrier opened a second lounge at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York, a 14,000-square-foot facility in Terminal 4.
